As a black woman, I have noticed that the beauty industry often overlooks black women. For this reason, I chose to take matters into my own hands and started making my own hair and skin products that met my needs, using certified organic, vegan, and non-toxic ingredients. My products quickly made my hair and skin thrive. It wasn't long before other women around me noticed it and asked me to give them my secret.

That's why I chose to found Kalahni's Treasures brand, Les Trésors de Kalahni which allows my daughters, nieces, sisters and friends to confidently wear their textured hair.
